LET ME TAKE YOU TO LYON

Ma olen vist varem juba maininud, et Lyon on minu lemmik linn maamunal. Teisipäeva õhtul, mil Helen mul külas oli ja oma tüdrukuteõhtut tegime, siis täiesti ootamatult otsustasime, et lähme järgmisel päeval Lyoni! Me oleme kaks korda juba plaaninud minna (ühel korral isegi ostsime piletid ära), aga alati on midagi vahele tulnud. Esimesel korral jäin mina haigeks ning teisel korral oli Helenil mingisugune asi ajada. Seega tunduski, et teeme nüüd ära ja lähme! Olimegi järgmisel päeval kell 9 hommikul Lyoni poole teel. 

Lyon is my favourite city ever. On Tuesday night, while Helen was at my place and we were having a girls night, out of nowhere, we decided to take a day trip to Lyon the next day. We've been trying to go there twice already. But something has always come up - first time I got sick and the second time (we actually even had bought the tickets) Helen had an important appointment. So at this moment, we thought - this is our chance - let's do this! And the next day 9am we were on our way to Lyon!

Ma polnud Lyonis käinud juuli kuust saati. Mul oli lihtsalt nii veider tunne, kui lõpuks kohale jõudsime. Selline tunne, et.. ma polekski ära olnud aga samas ma tundsin, et LÕPUKS olen ma siin jälle! Nii palju uusi kohti ja poekesi oli avatud.. Käisin näitasin Helenile oma vana kodutänavat, ning isegi seal oli üks uus toidu kohake avatud. Põnev! Ma lihtsalt.. tahtsin õnnest nutta, sest ma tunnen end Lyonis nii hästi ja mulle nii meeldib seal olla. Selle linna vibe on lihtsalt nii...minu jaoks loodud! Ma isegi ei tea, mis sellel nii erilist on aga selle linna energia on nii hea. Elu käib aga mitte liiga hoogsalt. (Nt. Pariis on minu jaoks too much) Minu jaoks on just see linn cozy..

I hadn't been in Lyon since July I think. It was so weird when I finally got there. I felt like.. I hadn't even been away but at the same time I felt like - finally, I'm back!!!!! They've opened so many new places in there. I showed my old home street to Helen, and even there they  have cute new food-place opened up! I just wanted to cry out of joy and happiness! Haha! I just feel so good in Lyon and I like being there. The vibe of this city is just made for me. I can't even say what's so special about it but the energy of this city is just... I don't know :) There's life, but not too much! (Paris, for example, was too much for me) But it's never boring and for me Lyon is just perfectly cozy!

Kõigepealt läksime me Starbucksi, sest et noh, Starbucks. Ma koheselt teadsin, et tahan pumpkin spice lattet. Neil oli ilusti kleeps ukse peale - et jeee - good old classic is back. Ja siis, kui tellima hakkasin, ütlesid nad, et nemad enam ei tee seda, et ala otsas vms...WHAT??? Mis mõttes. Esimest korda elus tahtsin proovida seda, ja just siis nad seda enam ei tooda. Ei no tere tali! Eks ma siis võtsin vana hea latte ikka...

First of all, we went to Starbucks. I knew already that I wanted to take pumpkin spice latte. They even had a nice sticker on the door - good old classic is back - or something like that. And when I went to order it, they said that they don't do it anymore - that it's finito! WHATTTT????? For the first time I was gonna order pumpkin spice latte, and now they don't have it ??? I was disappointed and sad...So I just took a good old latte...

Järgmiseks läksime me kesklinna, et sealt edasi minna ülesse mäe otsa, katedraali vaatama, kust avaneb ka imeline vaade tervele Lyoni linnale. Ainuke jama asi selle päeva puhul oli see, et enamus ajast sadas sellist vastikut vihma. Vahepeal oli selline uduvihm ja vahepeal ikka korralik vihm. Ja see natuke nagu tegi jalutamise ebamugavamaks. Ja tänu sellisele ilmale, ei olnud see vaade katedraalist just 100% ideaalne...kuid samas tundus veidi maagiline :) Juhuslikult sattusin ka peale, kuidas üks paarike tegid "perfect insta shotti" ja ma lihtsalt pidin pilti tegema, näitasin ka neile ning neile meeldis, hehe!

Next on, we went to the city-center, to take the metro up to the hill where they have this amazing cathedral and also you get beautiful view to the city of Lyon. The only bad thing about this day was that it was raining, so we didn't get the best view to the city and also walking around was not as pleasant as it could have been... While we were enjoying the view, there was a couple who were doing "the perfect Insta-shot". So I just took a picture of them taking a picture and I think I capture it nicely. I showed it to them, and they also liked it, yay!

Siis sõitsime alla linna tagasi ning jalutasime läbi vanalinna. Mulle nii meeldib Lyoni vanalinn. Imepisikesed tänavad ja pisikesed restoranid ja turistidepoed ja muud toredad butiigikesed. Ühest butiigist leidsin ma toredad puulusika küljes olevad shokolaadid, mille kuuma piima sisse pannes, teeb kuuma-kakao :) Armas! Üritasime paar sellist toredat "mina vanalinnas!" pilti teha. Helenist tulid kõik head pildid ning nii, kui tema minust hakkas tegema, siis hunnik tuvisid hakkas minu poole lendama. Kes ei tea, siis ma kardan tuvisid. Ma lihtsalt sattusin veidi paanikasse ja minust tulid aint väga ebaõnnestunud pildid.

After that, we went back to town and we walked through the old town. I love the old town there. These super-tiny streets, super-tiny restaurants and boutiques. Also, we tried to do these cute pictures "me in the old-town". Everything was fine when I took pictures of Helen, but of course when it was time to take shots of me, there was these pigeons flying towards me!! (Who doesn't know, I'm extremely scared of them) I could just feel how they were just trying to attack me, arrrggggh! So we only got some very bad photos of me...Great! :D

Lisaks, leidsime ka ühe toreda poe, mida koheselt võrdlesime Lushi poega. Hinnad olid küll kõrgemad aga ma olin lihtsalt ülimalt vaimustuses, mida nad valmistanud olid. Ma ei ole kindel, kas kõik on käsitöö või mitte, aga lihtsalt... Isuäratavad olid kõik vannipommid! Või mis te arvate..?

We also found this little store there that immediately made us compare it the LUSH. The prices were higher but I was just amazed how delicious they looked! Unbelievable! I'm not sure if they are all handmade tho, like LUSH is...But they still looked so good!

Lõppude-lõpuks jõudsime välja minu vanasse töökohta. Tegime seal väikse kohvi-peatuse. Veider tunne oli sealgi tagasi olla.. Tunne oli nagu..et, hei olen kodus. Aga tegelikult ei ole see ammu juba minu kodu (seal töötades kutsusin seda oma teiseks koduks, kuna inimesed olid justkui mu pere ja poole oma ajast veetsin ma seal). Ühesõnaga, tore oli tagasi olla.

Eventually we arrived to my old work. We had a little coffee-break there. It felt weird to be back there. I felt like, oh hey guys, I'm home! But actually it hasn't been my home for while now! (when I worked there, I felt like it was my second home, people were almost like a family to me and half of my time was spent there!) Anyways...It was good to be back. 

Hiljem jalutasime veel niisama linna peal ringi, käisime läbi LUSHist ning soetasin endale Mask of Magnaminty maski, mis Pille-Riini soovitusel oli väga hea. Lõpuks jõudsime veel minna ühte ülisuurde kaubanduskeskusesse. Sinna jõudes avastasin, et nad olid just avanud uue poe - PRIMARK!!! Ühe korra võite arvata, kas läksin äksi täis, või ei. See oli meie esimene sihtpunkt, ning see, mis seal poes toimus, oli hullumeelne. Ma arvan, et ma niipea sinna tagasi veel ei taha minna..Ootaksin, kuniks kõik maha rahuneb. Tunnen vaid kaasa seal töötavatele inimestele... Siiski paar asja sealt soetatud sai ning hinnad olid kah head!

Later, we just walked in the city, stepped by the LUSH store ( I bought this Mask of Magnaminty that I heard is very good). Eventually we ended up in this huge shopping center - Parti Dieu. When we arrived, I learned that they have just opened PRIMARK in there!!!!!!!! Did I go bananas or what! So this was out first destination in there and it was madness!! I don't think I wanna go back there for a while . I'll wait when everything and everyone has calmed down! I feel sorry for the people working there... But I did buy few things from there and all with good prices!

Lõpuks olime me lihtsalt nii väsinud, et oleks tahtnud lihtsalt kohe koju minna, aga meie transport läks alles kell 7..Õnneks ülejäänud aeg läks kiirelt ning ükshetk olimegi tagasi Grenoblis. Koju jõudes, ikka mõtlesin, et pagan,  nii tahaks ikka Lyonis elada :) Õnneks teisipäeval või kolmapäeval on juba jälle tagasi minek, küll aga pigem Lucase perekonda külastama ning niisama mõnulema!

In the end we were just soooooooooooo exhausted and we wished we could just go to home straight away, but our transport was in another 2 hours.. But next thing you know, time flew by and we were back in Grenoble. When I arrived, I was thinking by myself, that....damn, I really wanna live in Lyon again :) But hopefully on Tuesday or Wednesday I'm going back! This time just to visit Lucas's family and to chill. Or maybe also to meet up with my old co-workers!
